Methus' Tower Defence

"i broke the game!"

date: October 14, 2009

level 19, i cast the death spell right as i was about to die and the game spazzed out. Oh well, guess ill just reload it. As far as the game goes, fireball is the only spell you need, lol. Up until about round 17 when you can cast the death spell anyway. I think someone was saying how the skeletons and golem are underpowered. I agree, they are not that good. They should move a little faster, imo. They should also have more health to be better shields. That's about the only thing you'd really use them for. Other than that, I really enjoyed the game. Just sux that the game blowed up.

i like platformers like this that have challenging yet not aggrivating puzzles. Switches are always nice and ones that you have to hold down are good too. One thing I would like to see is MEDALS! Plz? and more areas. High scores are nice but they are easy to hack since I have seen too many where the high score was something stupid like 1337133713371337 and the next lowest is 259 or something. But medals are very nice and I think this game should get them.

Be My Eyes

"i can see potential here"

submission: Be My Eyes
date: October 4, 2009

yeah, i can definitely see how this game could work. It might be an extremely HARD game after it's done, but i can see how adding enemy spaceships and getting the gun to shoot the spaceships firing at YOU would be the main goal. However, I think the gun should shoot at where your guy currently is instead of having the gun aim at the cursor. Makes more sense to me anyway. Oh yeah, and if you do intend on continuing with this project, PLEASE promise me you will revise your text. It hurts my mind to read "bestest"

so things to think about:
-add enemies
-gun targets your ship, not your cursor
-revised text
-enhanced graphics

October 6, 2009

Author's Response:

I was thinking of having the gun follow the ship instead of the cursor. I promise that the intro text will be revised, but we'll have to see about the example screen.

My apologies to your mind.

Multi Tank Defense

"room for improvement"

submission: Multi Tank Defense
date: September 28, 2009

a few things I noticed about this game:

cons:
your 1's look like 7's, eventually i figured out the difference, but it took a while
unbalanced: the game is way too easy with some of the tanks, rework them plz
after victory it doesnt kick me back to the select stage screen
the T level has no way to lose, I'm not sure if the other levels are like this though
no music at all, made it fairly boring
fire tank and fire spewer were pretty much the same thing, perhaps you could try making the fire spewer the final level of the fire tank?
the poison tank made a funny sound that didn't suit the whole feel of the game

pros:
the variety of tanks you can use
the enemy graphics and the hp bar above their heads
your tanks have range displayed in a white circle
the user interface was easy to use and helpful
no graphical glitches as far as i know
no hp or range glitches
animation was smooth and didn't skip around or cause adverse effects

Stamper's Quest For Fags

"i got easy mode done..."

date: September 27, 2009

@PandesalSeller - it's rated 17+ because it explicitly shows packs of cigarettes. Tobacco use in games is rated a mature concept. Even if none of the characters actually smokes, apparently the idea of cigarettes is too mature even for 16 y.o.s

anyway, I got a bug to occur, not sure how it happened, but I would always get a certain distance, then whether I was low on health or maxed, it would throw me back to the title screen. but I would not use my time looking for it if I was you.

Stickya Adventurya

"extremely HARD"

submission: Stickya Adventurya
date: September 27, 2009

okay, this normally wouldnt earn a 6 just for being hard but the control scheme made it hard, plus the collisions. A few rooms i would like to point out are the first room with the snake, way too hard to make him jump like the instructions said, second, the room where you start small and grow bigger toward the door. WAY TOO HARD, the wheels rolling down seem to have a random generator behind how small they will be when they hit any given point. That and the jumping sucked there. Also, I went to open the door and almost got through when a wheel spawned and killed me, forcing me to try it 50 more times. Overall, its hard and annoying and I was glad when I beat it just so I could get that medal. Good luck making your games.

Jumpix 2

"frustrating"

submission: Jumpix 2
date: September 26, 2009

one of the biggest problems for me is trying to move diagonally and jump at the same time. I believe there's something that has to do with not letting 3 keyboard keys be pressed at the same time. Whatever it is, I would often not jump while holding the up and left keys, or the down and right keys, or combinations there-of. This would cause me to die, platforms would start falling, and I would not be able to complete the level. With as much thought as you need to put into how you solve these puzzles, it would be nice not having to worry about moving diagonally and jumping at the same time. Other than that I didn't have any problems with it. It is a nice casual game.

Madness Accelerant

"awesome game"

submission: Madness Accelerant
date: September 23, 2009

i liked this better than madness regeant. The way the boss follows you and the terrain you're on make this an ever-changing boss fight. Unfortunately my comp cannot run as fast as I expected and everything was very slow. Fortunately, this made the game easier since I could see everything around me and react a second before everything else around me could react. Still, I like thing-thing arenas better than this, lol. And I still cant figure out a couple of the medals...

Create A Fursona v3 Male

"good artwork btw"

date: September 22, 2009

hey, I just wanted to thank you for this chance to make a character that is my own(although you technically drew it, lol) for my own fursona. It gave me so many ideas and really got the creative juices flowing, even though I(at first) thought this was never going to work, it turns out that I really like what I came up with and now would like to share my new fursona with everyone, lol. I gave this flash a 9 because I found some items(such as hair choices) a little limited. Although I found a generic representation of what I wanted, and although you obviously put a lot of effort into getting this put together, I would like more choices. Also, one small thing I noticed was the cross-belts overlap the coats. Especially with the open-front jackets, it would look a bit better to have the belts go inside the jacket. But that is still very small, and other than that, I really enjoyed working with your options. I'm gonna vote 5 on this one.

Super Mario Defence

"excellent A+"

date: August 30, 2009

great design. I was a little skeptical at the first scene where you had the "obligatory opener" but you did this right. The levels started simple and eventually got tactical, which is what I like to see in a defense game. The graphics were great and were expertly rendered. Sometimes creators of flashes like these have a hard time mimicing the feel of a mario game, but this one does that dead on. It also adds extra flare by making towers that have distinct effects. While the damage and motion paths of all the objects was completely static(except the lotus flower, that was random), when you combine these elements, things get crazy. Gratz dude, you get a 10 from me.
